Just Skin

Just Skin, the cracks and crevasse: A full body stencil of Jessica in profile standing in second position and a hand over her hand. The photo is of her skin filling the stencil, you can see the lines of skin as the ight plays on it. One day I was sitting down and noticed that my skin was dry and full of lines. I started to feel bad about this and then I remembered my stencils and decided to make artwork with my skin...whose to say what skin should look like?

Bruised, a universe within: I run into things a lot causing my body bruises in all kinds of colors. I took this photo with my full body stencil, hands over head, face on, over a bruise on my thigh. I actually took a series of photos as the bruise changed colors over time. This photo I played with the colors in Lightroom and found the night sky, the universe.

Just Skin: A full body stencil of Jessica in profile standing in second position and a hand over her hand. The photo is of her skin filling the stencil, the skin is edited to be a gradation of medium browns at the top to almost white at the bottom.
